reading from my paper

The following video, graciously provided by Calvin Video Network, is from my talk at Wake Up Weekend this past January in Grand Rapids, "Not One Sparrow is Forgotten: A Simply Christian Animal Advocacy."  I'd hoped to give a bit more original presentation, but ended up reading from my seminary capstone project, with some Q&A.  It's probably a bit long-winded at times, but it's a good introduction to the biblical and theological motivation behind not one sparrow:

I can't thank Kristin Crawford, Rachel Kuyvhenhoven and the rest of the CVN team enough for the long (and volunteer) hours they spent taping and editing the video, and for the quality they put into it.  Soon I'll post the shorter, and perhaps slightly more entertaining, presentation I gave on not one sparrow the same weekend.

(If you have a problem playing the video, try these links: part 1 and part 2.)

Thanks, Ben. It was really good to review your framework for "Not One Sparrow." You had a very supportive audience, which was great. I'm newly motivated. Thanks!
