Paul Berry on the road
I'd like to thank Paul Berry for taking the time to meet up with me recently on his current State of the (Humane) Union Tour, which he describes as "a 10,000 mile cross-country motorcycle tour through America’s cities and towns ... to bring awareness to all the great work being done all over the country on behalf of animals." Earlier this year, Paul stepped down as CEO of Best Friends, and is using the tour to help formulate his next contribution to the cause.
Paul is spending time with companion animal rescuers, vegetarian proponents and other animal advocates, and I'm honored he reached out to me, as a friend and to hear more about what's going on with not one sparrow. Paul also wrote a very gracious postabout our chat together, and passed along some resources which have been meaningful to me in my journey of faith and as I've gotten into animal advocacy as part of that journey.
I'm grateful to Paul for the generous post and the attention he paid to not one sparrow, and wish him safe travel and much grace on the rest of his tour. According to his blog at OurHumaneNation.com, he should be on the southern East Coast about now. You can also follow Paul on Facebook and Twitter.
