Recently I discovered an incredibly enjoyable instrumental version of "All Things Bright and Beautiful" by David Johnson.  I could listen to it over and over again ...  It's titled "All Creatures Great and Small," and on David's gospel bluegrass album Many Roads to Home (Mountain Home Music '00).  Click play next to track 1 on the album's Rhapsody page

The Humane Society's Animals & Religion campaign recently asked music artists Adjoa Skinner and Erica Kirkendall and the group Sleeping At Last to contribute renditions of the classic hymn "All Things Bright and Beautiful" to their All Creatures Great and Small campaign.  We highlighted that campaign last Fall, and I thought I might post the songs here for your listening enjoyment, each with a very unique style and take.

all things bright and beautiful

A family member posted this, and I couldn't help following suit.  My mother sang this to me as a child, and I rediscovered the hymn a few years later through the veterinarian memoirs of James Herriot.  The children's choir whimsically (and some of them distractedly!) captures the song's innocence and wonder, as arranged by John Rutter.
