Ben DeVries, founder/admin...
Ben founded not one sparrow in May, 2008 after wrapping up his studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL), including his final project on a biblical-theological foundation for animal welfare. Ben previously graduated from Moody Bible Institute (Chicago, IL) and published A Delicate Fade (Zondervan).
He lives just north of the Illinois/Wisconsin stateline in Kenosha with his wife Cheryl, a natural-born teacher (and his most patient supporter), baby son Jadon, and three cats (Baby, Missy and Bitsy) who have been irreplacable in growing his love and concern for animals.
